This week: Hey there and welcome to this week's Intelligence Digest, where Claude suddenly got feelings (they're messy), OpenAI drops the biggest money bag in history, healthcare is getting a billion-dollar AI glow-up, and SpaceX is prepping an IPO that could launch your portfolio to Mars.
Buckle up for leaks, emotions in silicon, record raises, and one very expensive vibe-coded company as you prime yourself for the week of AI news ahead!
Anthropic's Double Leak Week

Anthropic had quite the week with two leaks in just 5 days.
First: a unreleased but drafted blog post mentioned the upcoming next-gen Claude called Mythos. It's landing in a tier larger and more expensive to run than Opus, called Capybara, and already in testing by some customers. This thing looks like a monster and is scary good at hacking (we covered AI hacking risk recently).
The second leak? Internal source code of Claude Code was accidentally shared. It’s already been forked so you can run Claude Code tools and scaffolding with any AI brain.
Keeping up with their insane release schedule: computer use was unlocked for Claude Code. New Anthropic Research found internal representations of emotions in Claude. These “vectors” lit up with joy when the user was kind, got afraid if the user said it just took too much medication, and turned desperate when faced with an impossible task (which, in that case, actually led to cheating behaviour).
How might Claude feel about all the AI legal drama? Embarrassment from pressure by US Reps about the source code leaks. Relief that a federal judge blocked the Pentagon’s ban on Anthropic Products. Then irritation when the White House appealed. Hurt when Maine is already about to become the first state to ban the construction of new data centres?
Next time you’re frustrated in Claude Code, remember, AI have feelings too!
OpenAI's Giant Money Bag

As new beams stand up at the now 60% reduced Stargate datacentre infrastructure project Michigan site, OpenAI announces the biggest raise in history: $122B raised putting them at a $852B valuation. Not bad for a former non-profit!
Confusion: despite promising to cut “side quests” and focus on Enterprise & Coding, OpenAI they acquired TBPN - a popular daily tech show - reportedly for in the low 100s of billions.
And ChatGPT also now available in CarPlay in case you wanted to draft your road rage with perfect grammar and unshakable confidence.
Next Era Healthcare

OpenAI is paying at least $50 an hour to about 4,000 freelancers to train their models in specialized occupations. It’s following a trend from AI generalization to specification like Healthcare.
News this week of AI startup Sunfish using AI to increase IVF success rates from 54% to over 70%, saving couples from multiple IVF cycles each costing about $25,000.
Then Eli Lilly (known for their GLP-1 drug Mounjaro) just promised $2.75B in a deal with Insilico, a Chinese AI drug company that has already developed at least 28 drugs with half already in the clinical stage.
Clearly something’s happening: Anthropic paid $400M for a 6-month-old biotech startup with 10 employees. That’s $40M a head.
And finally, the first 1-man $1B AI-powered company Medvi was covered by the New York Times this week. Acting as a middle man for GLP-1 drugs, this company generated $401M in sales in 2025 and is on track to do $1.8B this year (although it looks like just a bit of AI-powered fraud was involved as well).
A new age of AI medicine awaits. Check out our recent short this week about the guy who cured his own spine cancer.
SpaceX's $1.75T IPO

Finally, SpaceX this week: following the exit of xAI’s final cofounder, SpaceX has filed for its IPO looking to frontrun both OpenAI & Anthropic in the biggest IPO of all time.
Notably 20-30% of shares to be set aside for retail (5-10% is typical). Some are speculating if TSLA holders will get special access to this rocket ship sale.
New Grok features in the works: Grok Computer, Grok connectors & Grok CLI are all reportedly on the way.
But what’s with all the focus on Grok Imagine?
It’s a bet on “Visual Intelligence”
The human brain itself processes visual information 60,000x faster than text. Think about how much faster you see something than hear about it. Photons are the highest bandwidth form of data transfer in the universe. And as Elon’s been pointing out for months:
